InfaSecure convertible car seats feature a unique swing base / wedge. It is used to increase the level of recline for rearward facing mode.

To set the wedge to rearward facing mode:

  1. Turn your child restraint over to access the swing base.
  2. Position the wedge at the front of the child restraint. It can sometimes be tricky to swing the base, keep pulling until it 'pops' and the base swings freely, or use our little duck bill trick;

Flip the Wedge!

3. You can now turn the child restraint back over. Proceed to recline the child restraint to its most laid back position.

You can see our helpful video here on how to use the base, flip the wedge, and adjust the recline.
